Cabling
One of the main problems we see when either retrofitting a current A/V system or replacing one is the cabling. Cabling choices are just as important if not more important than what type of TV to buy and where to put it. Your TV’s performance and picture quality is restricted by the performance of the cables. You can’t expect to receive HD picture quality with standard or old definition cables.
Video Sources
In some circumstances we find a client that has spent thousands on HD flat panels and that actually have used the correct cabling but still say the picture isn’t HD! After reviewing their video system we most often find that the video sources such as satellite boxes just flat out don’t support the higher HD resolutions.
Speaker Placement & Selection
Do you receive numerous complaints about your audio system being too loud or not loud enough in certain areas? This is most often caused by speaker placement and speaker type. Buying a few speakers and mounting them up on the walls or in corners is what causes this problem.
